Horn Swarm is a participatory, malleable sound performance that includes ten “one-horn” instruments which audience is invited to wear and use. Incorporating soft circuitry and custom electronics, the instruments allow sound to be controlled via touch. The bodies of the participants form part of an electronic circuit with body conductivity creating sounds as they interact with the wearable noisy ‘horns’. The instruments invite participants to play with the composition and with each other, exploring the possibilities of the horns for composition and chaos.
